Abstract
A tactile control interface including an outer surface and means for locating a pressure by a finger of a user on the outer surface is disclosed. The outer surface is implemented by a rigid plate and said locating means include at least three force sensors onto which the plate is attached and which are configured for measuring a force in a direction substantially normal to the plane of the plate, means for calculating the position of the pressure of a finger on the plate on the basis of the measurements supplied by said at least three force sensors.

A tactile control interface comprising:
- an outer surface;
- and
- means for locating a pressure by a finger of a user on the outer surface
- wherein the outer surface is implemented by a rigid plate
- wherein said locating means include:
- at least three force sensors onto which the plate is attached and which are configured for measuring a force in a direction substantially normal to the plane of the plate, and
- means for calculating the position of the pressure of a finger on the plate on the basis of the measurements supplied by said at least three force sensors.
