Articulated screen cover for accommodating objects

A cover comprising:

• three hinges disposed substantially parallel to an edge of the cover;
• a first and second cover section connected by a first hinge of the three hinges;
• a third cover section connected to the second cover section by a second hinge of the three hinges;
• and
• a connector configured to attach the cover to a computing device, the connector connected to the first cover section by a third hinge of the three hinges,
• wherein the third hinge has a first width and the first cover section has a second width, the first width being greater than the second width.

An automated method for assembling a cover for a computing device, the cover being configured to provide a mechanically stable connection to the computing device, the method comprising:

• adjoining at least two portions of flexible film to at least two portions of rigid material, the portions of flexible film being substantially longitudinally oriented;
• and
• applying adhesive to the portions of flexible film and the portions of rigid material to bond the portions of flexible film with the portions of rigid material;
• and
• allow the applied adhesive to dry to form the cover;
• wherein the portions of flexible film act as hinges to engage a substantially longitudinal object when the cover swivels to a back side of the computing device to secure the object to the back side of the computing device while accommodating a predetermined threshold force.
