Abstract
A pharmaceutical or dietary composition for oral administration based on activated cellulose is described. The composition is useful in the treatment of obese or overweight subjects and of subjects suffering from hyperglycaemia or from hyperlipidaemia.

A pharmaceutical or dietary composition suitable for oral administration to a subject suffering from obesity or overweight, hyperglycaemia and/or hyperlipidaemia in need of treatment, wherein the composition comprises an activated cellulose.
A method comprising
- providing a composition comprising an activated cellulose;
- orally administering the composition to a subject having a condition in need of treatment, wherein the condition is selected from the group consisting of obesity or overweight, hyperglycaemia and hyperlipidaemia;
- and
- treating the condition.
