A method of reducing intracellular tau phosphorylation levels, wherein the method comprises administering, to cells comprising phosphorylated protein tau, an effective amount of compound B:
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound selected from compound A
- compound B
- and combinations thereof;
- and
- a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or adjuvant.
