Abstract
A wound cleansing assembly, which includes or is a wound cleansing cloth (1), having at least one carrier layer (2) and threads (3) disposed on the carrier layer (2) and protruding from the carrier (2), preferably made exclusively of synthetic fibers, preferably plastic fibers.
Claims25
A wound cleansing assembly comprising a wound cleansing cloth, which comprises at least one carrier layer and threads are arranged on the carrier layer and project from said carrier layer, wherein said threads are made from synthetic fibers, wherein the length of the threads ranges from 3 to 30 mm and the threads range from 0.5 to 20 DTex.
A wound cleansing assembly comprising a wound cleansing cloth, which comprises at least one carrier layer and threads are arranged on the carrier layer and project from said carrier layer, wherein said threads are made from synthetic fibers, at least some of the threads exhibit ends freely projecting at a side facing away from the carrier layer, the ends include respective end surfaces that extend at an acute angle in reference to their longitudinal extension, and the ends respective end surfaces extending at the acute angle in reference to their longitudinal extension are cut ends that result in a defined cutting edge at an intersection of the end surface and a sidewall of the thread for a razor-blade like cutting effect.
A method for debridement of at least one of a wound or skin, comprising wiping or cleansing a wound or skin using a wound cleansing assembly,
- the wound cleansing assembly comprising a wound cleansing cloth, which includes at least one carrier layer and threads are arranged on the carrier layer and project from said carrier layer, wherein said threads are made from synthetic fibers, at least some of the threads exhibit ends freely projecting at a side facing away from the carrier layer, and the ends include respective end surfaces that extend at an acute angle in reference to their longitudinal extension, and the ends respective end surfaces extending at the acute angle in reference to their longitudinal extension are cut ends that result in a defined cutting edge at an intersection of the end surface and a sidewall of the thread for a razor-blade like cutting effect.
