Wound retractor with split hoops

An adjustable wound retractor comprising:

• a flexible retraction sheath having a distal end, a proximal end, and an outer surface;
• a flexible inner ring insertable into a body cavity, the ring attached to the distal end of the retraction sheath;
• a first split-hoop comprising a first end and a second end;
• a second split-hoop comprising a first end and a second end;
• a first row of a plurality loops positioned around the outer surface of the retraction sheath near the proximal end of the sheath, the first row of loops sized and configured to receive the first split-hoop;
• and
• a second row of a plurality loops positioned around the outer surface of the retraction sheath near the proximal end of the sheath, the second row of loops positioned distal to the first row and sized and configured to receive the second split-hoop.
