## Abstract

Disclosed herein is a framework for generating and providing self-distinguishable identifiers as to users. In accordance with one aspect, an entry is retrieved from an object, wherein the entry includes one or more fields. The one or more fields may be concatenated to create a concatenated string. The framework may then determine if the concatenated string is unique from other concatenated strings in a listing of the object. If the concatenated string is determined to be not unique, a unique sequence identifier may be added to the concatenated string.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method that generates a unique self-distinguishable identifier, the method comprising:
retrieving an entry from an object, wherein the entry includes one or more fields;
concatenating the one or more fields to create a concatenated string;
determining if the concatenated string is unique from other concatenated strings in a listing of the object; and
if the concatenated string is determined to be not unique, adding a unique sequence identifier to the concatenated string.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the object is a table listing of entries.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the entry is entered by one of a user or data file.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the one or more fields are non-mandatory and can be left empty.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the concatenating includes fields that are considered as concatenated with one another.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the unique sequence identifier is a sequential identifier to the entry.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1 further comprising initiating a dictionary in which unique self-distinguishable identifiers are listed.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The method according to claim 7, wherein the object is included in the dictionary.

### Claim 9

One or more computer-readable media storing processor-executable instructions that when executed cause one or more processors to perform operations that generates unique self-distinguishable identifiers, the operations comprising:
initiating a dictionary;
fetching an entry from a table of the dictionary;
placing in order one or more fields of the entry; and
concatenating the one or more fields of the entry to create a self-distinguishable identifier.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The one or more computer-readable media according to claim 9, wherein the initiating the dictionary includes adding entries to the table.

### Claim 11 (depends on 9)

The one or more computer-readable media according to claim 9, wherein the fetching the entry is performed in sequential order of entries in the table.

### Claim 12 (depends on 9)

The one or more computer-readable media according to claim 9, wherein placing in order the one or more fields includes predetermining which fields are concatenated.

### Claim 13 (depends on 9)

The one or more computer-readable media according to claim 9, wherein the one or more fields may be empty.

### Claim 14 (depends on 9)

The one or more computer-readable media according to claim 9, further comprising determining if the self-distinguishable identifier is unique from other self-distinguishable identifiers in the table.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The one or more computer-readable media according to claim 14, further comprising adding a sequence identifier to the self-distinguishable identifier if the determining is that the self-distinguishable identifier is not unique.

### Claim 16 (depends on 9)

The one or more computer-readable media according to claim 9 further comprising entering entries into the table, wherein the one or more fields of the entries may be empty.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The one or more computer-readable media according to claim 16, wherein the entering is performed by one of a user or data file.

### Claim 18

A system that facilities generating self-distinguishable identifiers, the system comprising:
an input configured to receive one or more entries that are added to an object;
a sub-system configured to concatenate fields of the one or more entries to generate the self-distinguishable identifiers, to determine if the self-distinguishable identifiers are unique and to add a sequence identifier if the self-distinguishable identifiers are not unique.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

The system according to claim 18, wherein the fields are not mandatory.

### Claim 20 (depends on 18)

The system according to claim 18, wherein certain fields are determined to be concatenated.
