Abstract
A recess is formed in a plate-like workpiece. Then, an inner ejector is engaged with the recess to restrict deformation of a body portion. In this state, a flange is formed in the outer periphery of the workpiece. A processed product portion is then punched out.
Claims6
A forming method for stamping a plate-like workpiece with a stamping apparatus to obtain a processed product having a body portion, an outer peripheral portion formed in an outer periphery of the body portion, and a recess formed between the body portion and the outer peripheral portion, the method comprising:
- a first step of forming the recess in the workpiece;
- a second step of engaging a restraint member with the recess;
- and
- a third step of forming the outer peripheral portion while restricting deformation of the body portion by means of the restraint member.
A stamping apparatus for stamping a plate-like workpiece with a stamping apparatus between a first die base and a second die base to obtain a processed product having a body portion, an outer peripheral portion formed in an outer periphery of the body portion, and a recess formed between the body portion and the outer peripheral portion,
- wherein one of the first die base and the second die base includes a restraint member that becomes engaged with the recess to restrict deformation of the body portion when the outer peripheral portion is formed.
