Abstract
Compositions are described which contain lactoferrin, angiogenin and an anabolic hormone. The described compositions are useful in treatment of a variety of conditions, particularly in promoting bone health.
Claims26
A composition for bone health comprising:
- 10-25 wt % isolated lactoferrin (LF), wherein the LF is complexed to a metal selected from the group consisting of zinc, copper, manganese, chromium, aluminum and gallium;
- 0.5-10 wt % isolated angiogenin (AGN), wherein LF:AGN wt/wt ratio is from 50:1 to 9:1;
- and
- one or more anabolic hormone.
