Abstract
A kit of parts for use in prevention and/or treatment of a non-oral treatment site, such as, sores, wounds, ulcers or the like, or a fistula or otitis. The kit of parts comprises a first aqueous component comprising one or more amino acids, and a second aqueous component comprising an active halogen compound, wherein the pH of the first component and/or the second component is about 9 to 11.5. There is also provided a treatment preparation prepared from the components and uses thereof in the prevention and/or treatment of a non-oral treatment site, such as, sores, wounds, ulcers or the like, or a fistula or otitis.

A kit of parts for use in prevention and/or treatment of sores, wounds, ulcers, or a fistula or otitis, wherein the kit of parts comprises
- a. a first aqueous component comprising one or more amino acids, and
- b. a second aqueous component comprising an active halogen compound,
- wherein the pH of the first component and/or the second component is about 9 to 11.5.
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said sores, ulcers, fistulas or otitis are chronic and involves inflammations, infections and/or necrosis.
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the use is a non-oral use.
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according any one of the preceding claims, wherein the active halogen compound is an active chlorine compound.
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the amount of the active halogen compound in the second component is 0.5-5, 0.5-3, or 1-2% (by weight).
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said one or more amino acids are selected from the group consisting of alanine, arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glutamine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine and/or valine.
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the first component comprises 0.1-1% (by weight) of said one or more amino acids.
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the use comprises mixing the two components in the volume ratios of 1:2 to 2:1, preferably about 1:1, thereby forming a treatment preparation for use in the application on a treatment site being a sore, wound, ulcer or the like, or a fistula or otitis, which treatment preparation within 30 seconds after the components have been mixed together and at room temperature and 1 atm of pressure (101325 Pa) has a pH of about 9 to 11.5, preferably of about 9 to 11 or about 9 to 10.5, or about 9.5 to 10.5, or about 9.5 to 11.5, or about 10 to 11.5, or about 10.5 to 11.5, or about 11 to 11.5.
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the first aqueous component further comprises a gel substance.
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, further comprising Ti2O and/or NaCl.
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, the kit further comprising a third component being a fat-like cream.
The kit of parts for use in said prevention and/or treatment according to any one of the preceding claims, further comprising a forth component being protective preparation, optionally containing vitamin A and/or Vitamin D.
A treatment preparation for use in prevention and/or treatment of sores, wounds, ulcers, or a fistula or otitis, wherein the treatment preparation is obtainable by mixing
- a. a first aqueous component comprising one or more amino acids, and
- b. a second aqueous component comprising an active halogen compound,
- wherein the pH of the first component and/or the second component is about 9 to 11.5,
- in the volume ratios of 1:2 to 2:1, preferably in the volume ratio of about 1:1.
