Abstract
A method of obtaining a medical image with respect to an object, setting a measurement item and a type of caliper with respect to the image, selecting a point in the medical image based on an external input, adjusting a location of the selected point, based on the type of caliper that has been set, and indicating the location-adjusted point in the medical image, is provided.
Claims17
A method of indicating in a medical image a point whose location has been adjusted based on a type of caliper to be used to measure an object, the method comprising:
- obtaining the medical image with respect to the object;
- setting a measurement item and the type of caliper with respect to the object;
- selecting a point in the medical image based on an external input;
- adjusting a location of the selected point based on the type of caliper that has been set;
- and
- indicating the location-adjusted point in the medical image.
An apparatus for indicating in a medical image a point whose location has been adjusted based on a type of caliper to be used to measure an object, the apparatus comprising:
- an ultrasound image obtaining unit that obtains the medical image with respect to the object;
- a setting unit that sets a measurement item and the type of caliper with respect to the object;
- a selection unit that selects a point in the medical image based on an external input;
- an adjusting unit that adjusts a location of the selected point based on the type of caliper that has been set;
- and
- an indication unit that indicates the adjusted point in the medical image.
