## Abstract

A modular construction panel is provided. The modular construction panel has a panel having a plurality of fasteners disposed within or thereon, each fastener permitting adjoining to a like construction panel for creating a structure. The panels are provided in shapes optimizing modularity when mated to other panels.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A modular construction panel comprising a flexible panel having a plurality of fasteners disposed within or thereon, each fastener being substantially equidistant from at least two nearest neighboring fasteners, each pair of said fasteners permitting adjoining to a pair of nearest neighboring fasteners disposed on a like modular construction panel for creating a structure.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The modular construction panel of claim 1, wherein one or more of said fasteners are disposed at corners of said panel.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The modular construction panel of claim 2, wherein said fasteners are disposed to achieve a lap joint of said like modular construction panel.

### Claim 4

(canceled)

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The modular construction panel of claim 1, wherein said modular construction panel is substantially trapezoidal.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The modular construction panel of claim 5, wherein said substantially trapezoidal modular construction panel has a longer base substantially twice the length of a shorter base and two legs extending from said longer base at approximately sixty degrees.

### Claim 7 (depends on 4)

The modular construction panel of claim 4, wherein said modular construction panel comprises five fasteners, wherein said five fasteners are disposed substantially at the four corners of said trapezoid and midway between said fasteners disposed at the corners of the base of said trapezoid.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The modular construction panel of claim 7, wherein said modular construction panel comprises stitching to maintain said fasteners in position.

### Claim 9 (depends on 7)

The modular construction panel of claim 7, wherein said fasteners are maintained in position by ultrasonic welding the fasteners to the modular construction panel.

### Claim 10 (depends on 7)

The modular construction panel of claim 7, wherein said fasteners are maintained in position by gluing the fasteners to the modular construction panel.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The modular construction panel of claim 1, wherein said fasteners are magnets disposed within said modular construction panel.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The modular constructional panel of claim 1, wherein said modular construction panel comprises two surface layers.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The modular construction panel of claim 12, wherein said panel further comprises an internal layer disposed between said two surface layers.

### Claim 14 (depends on 12)

The modular construction panel of claim 12, wherein said surface layers comprise a non-woven material.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The modular construction panel of claim 14, wherein said non-woven material is felted.

### Claim 16 (depends on 13)

The modular construction panel of claim 13, wherein said internal layer comprises a flexible material.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The modular construction panel of claim 16, wherein said flexible material permits the panel to flex while being biased to a flat state.

### Claim 18 (depends on 1)

The modular construction panel of claim 1, wherein the structure is wearable.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

The modular construction panel of claim 18, wherein the structure is a costume.

### Claim 20 (depends on 1)

The modular construction panel of claim 1, wherein the structure is sculptural.
