Electronic device system with an embedded display unit

An electronic device, comprising:

• a display portion, which includes a main display that is provided on a first side of the display portion;
• and
• a secondary display unit that is provided on a second side of the display portion, wherein the secondary display unit is configured to be detached from the display portion such that it can perform at least one computing operation independent from the display portion.

A method, comprising:

• receiving a secondary display unit at an electronic device that includes a display portion, wherein the display portion includes a main display that is provided on a first side of the display portion, and wherein the secondary display unit is provided on a second side of the display portion;
• and
• rotating the secondary display unit via a hinge, which is to secure the secondary display unit to the display portion, wherein the hinge is to allow a rotation of the secondary display unit in relation to the display portion.

A system, comprising:

• means for receiving a secondary display unit at an electronic device that includes a display portion, wherein the display portion includes a main display that is provided on a first side of the display portion, and wherein the secondary display unit is provided on a second side of the display portion;
• and
• means for rotating the secondary display unit that secures the secondary display unit to the display portion, wherein the secondary display unit rotates in relation to the display portion.
