Information providing device, image forming device, and transmission system for providing image data to a transmission terminal that performs video communication

An information providing device capable of communicating with a transmission terminal, the information providing device comprising:

• a transmitter that transmits image data to the transmission terminal which performs video communication with a counterpart transmission terminal, wherein the transmitter further transmits the image data to the transmission terminal as data to be distributed to the counterpart transmission terminal during video communication, such that the transmission terminal is performing the video communication with the counterpart transmission terminal prior to the transmitter transmitting the image data to the transmission terminal, and when the transmitter transmits the image data to the transmission terminal the transmission terminal is caused to display the image data as part of the ongoing video communication with the counterpart transmission terminal.

A transmission terminal which performs video communication with a counterpart transmission terminal, comprising:

• a receiver that receives image data from an information providing device;
• and
• a transmitter that transmits the image data as data to be distributed to the counterpart transmission terminal during video communication, such that the transmission terminal is performing the video communication with the counterpart transmission terminal prior to the information providing device sending the image data to the transmission terminal, and when the information providing device sends the image data to the transmission terminal the transmission terminal is caused to display the image data as part of the ongoing video communication with the counterpart transmission terminal.

A non-transitory computer readable medium including computer executable instructions, wherein the instructions, when executed by an information providing device capable of communicating with a transmission terminal, cause the information providing device to perform a method comprising:

• transmitting, by a transmitter of the information providing device, image data to the transmission terminal which performs video communication with a counterpart transmission terminal, as data to be distributed to the counterpart transmission terminal during video communication, such that the transmission terminal is performing the video communication with the counterpart transmission terminal prior to the transmitter transmitting the image data to the transmission terminal, and when the transmitter transmits the image data to the transmission terminal the transmission terminal is caused to display the image data as part of the ongoing video communication with the counterpart transmission terminal.

A non-transitory computer readable medium including computer executable instructions, wherein the instructions, when executed by transmission terminal which performs video communication with a counterpart transmission terminal, cause the transmission terminal to perform a method comprising:

• receiving, by a receiver of the transmission terminal, image data from an information providing device;
• and
• transmitting, by a transmitter of the transmission terminal, the image data as data to be distributed to the counterpart transmission terminal during video communication, such that the transmission terminal is performing the video communication with the counterpart transmission terminal prior to the information providing device sending the image data to the transmission terminal, and when the information providing device sends the image data to the transmission terminal the transmission terminal is caused to display the image data as part of the ongoing video communication with the counterpart transmission terminal.
