Abstract
Disclosed herein is a display apparatus, including: a plurality of subpixels disposed adjacent each other and forming one pixel which forms a unit for formation of a color image; the plurality of subpixels including a first subpixel which emits light of the shortest wavelength and a second subpixel disposed adjacent the first subpixel; the second subpixel having a light blocking member disposed between the second subpixel and the first subpixel and having a width greater than a channel length or a channel width of a transistor which forms the second subpixel.
Claims28
A display apparatus, comprising:
- a plurality of subpixels arranged in a display region, the subpixels including:
- a first subpixel including a first transistor and a first light emitting element, the first light emitting element being configured to emit light including light having a blue wavelength;
- and
- a second subpixel disposed adjacent the first subpixel and including a second transistor and a second light emitting element,
- wherein a contact is disposed between the first light emitting element and the second transistor,
- the contact is made of a same material as that of an anode electrode of the second light emitting element, and
- the contact has a configuration selected from a group consisting of:
- (i) a width of the contact being greater than a channel length of the second transistor, and
- (ii) a width of the contact being greater than a channel width of the second transistor.
A display apparatus, comprising:
- a plurality of subpixels that include:
- a first subpixel including a first transistor and a first light emitting element, the first light emitting element being configured to emit light including light having a blue wavelength;
- and
- a second subpixel disposed adjacent the first subpixel and including a second transistor and a second light emitting element,
- wherein a contact is disposed between the first light emitting element and the second transistor along a first direction,
- the contact is made of a same material as that of an anode electrode of the second light emitting element, and
- the contact is wider than a channel region of the second transistor in a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction.
A display apparatus, comprising:
- a plurality of subpixels that include:
- a first subpixel including a first transistor and a first light emitting element, the first light emitting element being configured to emit light including light having a blue wavelength;
- and
- a second subpixel including a second transistor and a second light emitting element, the second subpixel is disposed adjacent to the first subpixel along a first direction,
- wherein
- a contact is disposed between the first light emitting element and the second transistor,
- a wiring line is extending through a region between the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element,
- the wiring line is connected to the contact,
- the contact is made of a same material as that of an anode electrode of the second light emitting element,
- the wiring line is made on a same layer as anode electrodes of the first and the second light emitting element, and
- the contact is wider than a channel region of the second transistor in a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction.
