Abstract
A brake pad assembly for mounting on a caliper of a vehicle includes a backing plate, a brake lining disposed on a front side of the backing plate, and a heat sink. The heat sink includes a thermal conductive sheet and a set of cooling fins mounted on a rear side of the thermal conductive sheet. In particular, the thermal conductive sheet is overlapped and releasably fastened on the backing plate.

A brake pad assembly for mounting on a caliper of a vehicle, the brake pad assembly comprising:
- a backing plate;
- a brake lining disposed on a front side of the backing plate;
- and
- a heat sink including a thermal conductive sheet and a set of cooling fins mounted on a rear side of the thermal conductive sheet;
- wherein the thermal conductive sheet is overlapped and releasably fastened on the backing plate.
