Techniques for correlating data in a repository system

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more memory devices coupled to the one or more processors, the one or more memory devices containing instructions that, when executed on the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
• identify a group of source entities from a plurality of entities in a source repository system, wherein the group of source entities are identified based on each source entity in the group of source entities including a correlation identifier.
• access a group of destination entities in a destination repository system;
• determine whether the group of source entities has a correlation with the group of destination entities, wherein the correlation is determined based on comparing each attribute of the group of source entities to each attribute of the group of destination entities;
• and
• upon determining that the group of source entities has a correlation with the group of destination entities, for each source entity in the group of source entities:
• update the destination repository system to include information from the source entity to a destination entity in the group of destination entities, wherein the source entity is determined to be a duplicate of the destination entity.

A computer-readable memory storing a set of instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, causes the one or more processors to:

• identify a group of source entities from a plurality of entities in a source repository system;
• access a group of destination entities in a destination repository system;
• determine whether the group of source entities has a correlation with the group of destination entities;
• and
• upon determining that the group of source entities has a correlation with the group of destination entities, for each source entity in the group of source entities:
• update the destination repository system to include the source entity in the group of destination entities when the source entity is determined to be a duplicate of a destination entity in the group of destination entities.
