Abstract
The invention provides a compound conforming to the structure of Formula (CXX) The invention also provides a thermoplastic polymer composition comprising a polyolefin polymer and a compound conforming to the structure of Formula (CXX) as a nucleating agent.

A compound conforming to the structure of Formula (CXX)
- wherein x is a positive integer;
- each M1 is a cation of a metal selected from the group consisting of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, and zinc;
- y is the valence of the cation;
- z is a positive integer;
- b is zero or a positive integer;
- when b is a positive integer, each Q1 is a negatively-charged counterion and a is the valence of the negatively-charged counterion;
- and the values of x, y, z, a, and b satisfy the equation x+(ab)=yz.
