Claims20
A method of manufacturing silicone oil for use in an intraocular lens, comprising purifying silicone oil to be used in an intraocular lens, wherein the silicone oil has a polydispersity index of less than about 1.5.
A method of manufacturing an intraocular lens, comprising:
- providing a silicone oil that has been purified to have a polydispersity index of less than about 1.5;
- and
- assembling a bulk polymer material and the silicone oil to form an intraocular lens.
Silicone oil adapted to be used in an intraocular lens, wherein the silicone oil has been purified to have a polydispersity index less than about 1.5.
A method of manufacturing silicone oil for use in an intraocular lens, comprising synthesizing silicone oil to be used in an intraocular lens, wherein the silicone oil has a polydispersity index of less than about 1.5.
