It also comprises a salt of saxagliptin with glycolic acid 1:1 hydrate. It also comprises their preparation processes, as well as their use as antidiabetics.
Claims20
A cocrystal of saxagliptin hydrochloride and a compound selected from the group consisting of saxagliptin, glycolic acid, malonic acid and urea;
- or a solvate thereof, or a hydrate thereof.
A salt of saxagliptin with glycolic acid 1:1 hydrate, characterized by having an X-ray diffractogram that comprises characteristic peaks at approximately 7.2, 10.9, 17.6, 17.9 and 21.8 degrees 2 theta at a Cu—Kα radiation, λ=1.5406 Å.
(canceled)
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a cocrystal of saxagliptin hydrochloride and a compound selected from the group consisting of saxagliptin, glycolic acid, malonic acid, and urea;
- or a solvate thereof, or a hydrate thereof, or a salt of saxagliptin with glycolic acid (1:1) hydrate characterized by having an X-ray diffractogram that comprises characteristic peaks at approximately 7.2, 10.9, 17.6, 17.9 and 21.8 degrees 2 theta at a Cu—Kα radiation, λ=1.5406 Å, together with appropriate amounts of pharmaceutical excipients or carriers.
