Methods of administering roulette bonus wagers and related apparatuses and systems

A method of administering a game of roulette, comprising:

• accepting a first wager from a player;
• accepting another wager from the player;
• using a random multiplier selection apparatus to randomly select a multiplier from a group of fixed multipliers consisting of 10 times, 25 times, 50 times, 100 times, 250 times, 500 times, and 1,000 times for a payout on the another wager;
• using a random outcome generation apparatus to randomly generate a number and associated color within a range of numbers and associated colors;
• resolving the another wager by determining whether the randomly generated number is identical to a randomly generated number from an immediately preceding round;
• paying a payout to the player when the randomly generated number is identical to the randomly generated number from the immediately preceding round, an amount of the payout being equal to an amount of the another wager multiplied by the randomly selected multiplier;
• collecting the amount of the another wager for the house when the randomly generated number is different from the randomly generated number from the immediately preceding round;
• and
• resolving the first wager by comparing a characteristic of the randomly generated number and associated color with a characteristic associated with the first wager.

A gaming table for administering a game of roulette, comprising:

• a display configured to display real-time game information, an operator interface, a nontransitory memory, and at least one processor, the at least one processor programmed to:
• randomly select a multiplier from a group of fixed payout multipliers;
• cause the display to display the multiplier selected;
• interpret a randomly generated number and associated color within a range of numbers and associated colors;
• determine winning outcome conditions, including determining whether the randomly generated number is identical to a randomly generated number from an immediately preceding round;
• cause the display to display the winning outcome conditions;
• record in the memory authorization of payment of a payout to the player when the randomly generated number is identical to the randomly generated number from the immediately preceding round, an amount of the payout being equal to an amount of the wager multiplied by the randomly selected multiplier;
• and
• record in the memory authorization of collection of the amount of the wager for the house when the randomly generated number is different from the randomly generated number from the immediately preceding round.

A method of administering a game of roulette over a network, comprising:

• receiving at game server authorization from a player to allocate funds to a wager;
• randomly selecting a multiplier from a group of fixed multipliers for a payout on the wager;
• randomly generating a number and associated color within a range of numbers and associated colors;
• resolving the wager by determining at the server whether the randomly generated number is identical to a randomly generated number from an immediately preceding round;
• authorize payment of a payout to the player when the randomly generated number is identical to the randomly generated number from the immediately preceding round, an amount of the payout being equal to an amount of the wager multiplied by the randomly selected multiplier;
• and
• authorize collection of the amount of the wager for the house when the randomly generated number is different from the randomly generated number from the immediately preceding round.

A method of administering a play-for-free game of roulette over a network, comprising:

• sending from a server a quantity of valueless wagering elements usable within a predetermined time period to a player;
• receiving authorization from a player to allocate at least one valueless wagering element to a wager;
• randomly selecting a multiplier from a group of fixed multipliers for a payout on the wager;
• randomly generating a number and associated color within a range of numbers and associated colors;
• resolving the wager by determining whether the randomly generated number is identical to a randomly generated number from an immediately preceding round;
• authorize issuance of additional valueless wagering elements to the player when the randomly generated number is identical to the randomly generated number from the immediately preceding round, a quantity of the additional valueless wagering elements being equal to the quantity of valueless wagering elements allocated to the wager multiplied by the randomly selected multiplier;
• and
• authorize deduction of the quantity of valueless wagering elements allocated to the wager when the randomly generated number is different from the randomly generated number from the immediately preceding round.
