Abstract
A granular particulate anhydrite reinforcing agent for polyolefin compositions may be used at a low concentration to provide enhanced composition properties, and particularly in relation to flexural properties.

A reinforced polyolefin composition comprising a polyolefin polymer component and from 2 weight percent to 17 weight percent of a granular particulate anhydrite reinforcing agent having a weight average particle size of not larger than 20 microns.
