Hot beverage maker

A hot beverage making device comprising:

• a water tank configured to hold a liquid, the water tank having an air port at the top of the water tank that opens to the atmosphere, the water tank further comprising a water outlet port;
• a boiler tank configured for holding and heating predetermined measured amounts of the liquid, the boiler tank being positioned such that the highest liquid level of the boiler tank is lower than a highest liquid level of the water tank, the boiler tank comprising a water inlet port;
• a control device comprising:
• a control circuit;
• a cam rotatably positioned in the hot beverage making device, the cam comprises bumps arranged on the peripheral surface of the cam, the cam having first and second ends;
• a driver device disposed proximate to the second end of the cam and configured to drive the cam to rotate to predetermined rotational positions, the driver device being controlled by the control circuit;
• a first valve configured to control liquid flow from the water outlet port of the water tank to the water inlet port of the boiler tank;
• a second valve device configured to control the opening and closing of a connecting pipeline that extends between the atmosphere and at least one dispensing measuring pipe, wherein each of the at least one dispensing measuring pipes extend upright inside an inner cavity of the boiler tank from the second valve device and each of the at least one dispensing measuring pipes have a second opening at their lower end wherein the lower end of each dispensing pipe is disposed at a different level inside the inner cavity of the boiler tank such that atmospheric pressure is used to measure an amount of liquid provided from the water tank to the boiler tank based on the second valve device opening or closing one or more of the at least one dispensing measuring pipes;
• a water outlet pipe having a first end in communication with the inner cavity of the boiler tank and having a first opening proximate to the bottom of the inner cavity of the boiler and a second opening located outside of the inner cavity of the boiler tank and above the highest liquid level of the boiler tank;
• an exhaust pipe in communication with the top portion of the inner cavity of the boiler tank and configured to exhaust vapor pressure while liquid in the inner cavity is being heated;
• a third valve configured to open and close the exhaust pipe such that the third valve is open while the liquid in the cavity of the boiler tank is heating and closed while the liquid is being dispensed via the water outlet pipe.
