Abstract
A pallet including a deck, a frame and one or more elements. The deck is for carrying cargo. The frame is about a perimeter of the pallet and is formed of horizontally extending tubular portions. The elements support the frame above a support surface to overlie one or more openings for receiving the tines of a lifting device. The tubular portions include lengthwise corrugations.

A pallet comprising:
- a horizontally extending member and elements for supporting the horizontally extending member above a support surface to define two openings for receiving the tines of a forklift;
- one of the openings having sides defined by two of the elements, the two of the elements defining upwardly diverging load paths such that weight carried by the pallet tensions a portion of the horizontally extending member intermediate the two of the elements;
- the other of the openings having sides defined by another two of the elements, the other two of the elements defining upwardly diverging load paths such that weight carried by the pallet tensions a portion of the horizontally extending member intermediate the other two of the elements.
A pallet comprising:
- a horizontally extending member and elements for supporting the horizontally extending member above a support surface to define two openings for receiving the tines of a forklift;
- one of the openings having sides defined by two of the elements, the two of the elements upwardly diverging from each other;
- the other of the openings having sides defined by another two of the elements, the other two of the elements upwardly diverging from each other.
