Abstract
Various embodiments generally relate to user interface elements informative of referral incentives. In some embodiments, contact information may be obtained for contacts associated with a user of a content management system. Various amounts of additional storage space available to the user upon acceptance of referral requests sent by or on behalf of the user to the contacts may be determined. One or more graphic indicator of various types may be displayed to the user indicating one or more of: amounts of additional storage space obtainable through successful new referrals, the user's current storage space, and the relative sizes of the user's current storage space and the amounts of additional storage space.
Claims30
A method for displaying potential incentives to a user, comprising:
- obtaining contact information for at least one contact associated with a user of a software application;
- determining an amount of additional storage space available to the user upon acceptance of a first referral request sent to the at least one contact by the user;
- and
- displaying a graphic indicator to the user indicating at least one of:
- the amount of additional storage space;
- the user's current storage space;
- and
- the relative sizes of the user's current storage space and the amount of additional storage space.
A non-transitory computer readable medium containing instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing device, cause the computing device to:
- obtain contact information for at least one contact associated with a user of one of a computer accessible service, a computer accessible suite, a platform application, and an interactive application;
- determine an amount of additional storage space available to the user upon acceptance of a first referral request sent to the at least one contact;
- and
- display a graphic indicator to the user indicating at least one of:
- the amount of additional storage space;
- the user's current storage space;
- and
- the relative sizes of the user's current storage space and the amount of additional storage space.

- at least one processor;
- a display;

- memory containing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to:
- obtain contact information for at least one contact associated with the user of one of a computer accessible service, a computer accessible suite, a platform application, and an interactive application;
- determine an amount of additional storage space available to the user upon acceptance of a first referral request sent to the at least one contact by the user;
- and
- display a first graphic indicator to the user indicating at least one of:
- the amount of additional storage space;
- the user's current storage space;
- and
- the relative sizes of the user's current storage space and the amount of additional storage space.
