Abstract
A method for invoking an application in a Screen Lock screen is disclosed herein. The method for invoking an application in a user equipment includes the steps of selecting at least one unlock application that is to be displayed on a Screen Lock screen among multiple applications, and displaying an unlock application icon respective to each of the select at least one unlock application on the Screen Lock screen.

As a method for invoking an application in a user equipment, the method for invoking an application comprises:
- selecting at least one unlock application that is to be displayed on a Screen Lock screen among multiple applications;
- and
- displaying an unlock application icon respective to each of the select at least one unlock application on the Screen Lock screen.
As a method for invoking an application in a user equipment, the method for invoking an application comprises:
- comparing a number N of unlock applications that are to be displayed on a Screen Lock screen, the N number of unlock applications being selected by a user, and a number M of pattern entry dots for unlocking the Screen Lock screen;
- and
- based upon the compared result, displaying an unlock application icon corresponding to at least one unlock application on the Screen Lock screen, instead of displaying at least some of the M number of pattern entry dots.
