Abstract
Provided herein are methods of preventing skin cancer, where the methods comprise the step of administering an effective amount of at least one Hsp90 inhibitor to a subject at the risk of developing skin cancer, whereby the skin cancer is prevented in the subject.

A method of preventing UV radiation-induced skin cancer, the method comprising the step of:
- administering to a subject at risk of developing skin cancer an effective amount of an Hsp90 inhibitor,
- wherein the skin cancer of the subject is prevented.
A method of preventing UV radiation-induced skin damage comprising the step of administering an effective amount of at least one Hsp90 inhibitor to a subject at risk of UV radiation-induced skin damage,
- wherein the skin damage is prevented.
