Abstract
The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to novel compounds of Formula I, Formula II, and Formula III, and stereoisomers thereof, and flavor compositions comprising the novel compounds.
Claims26
A compound of Formula I or a stereoisomer thereof,
- wherein X is O or N—R2, and wherein R1 and R2 are selected from the group consisting of H, alkyl groups, alkenyl groups, aryl groups, and heteroaryl groups.
A compound of Formula II or a stereoisomer thereof,
- wherein R3, R4, and R5 are selected from the group consisting of H, alkyl groups, alkenyl groups, aryl groups, and heteroaryl groups, and wherein R5 is not H, a C1-C10 aliphatic group, or a C1-C10 aromatic group when both R3 and R4 are H.
A compound of Formula III or a stereoisomer thereof,
- wherein R6, R7, and R8 are selected from the group consisting of H, alkyl groups, alkenyl groups, aryl groups, and heteroaryl groups, and wherein R8 is not a polyether when both R6 and R7 are H.
