Abstract
Techniques to control light wavefronts are described herein. A plurality of sub-wavelength grating (SWG) layers includes a SWG layer. The SWG layer is arranged to control a light wavefront.
Claims15
A wavefront control device to control a light wavefront, the device comprising:
- a plurality of stacked sub-wavelength grating (SWG) layers including a SWG layer arranged to control a light wavefront.
A wavefront control device to control a light wavefront, the device comprising:
- a first SWG layer and a second SWG layer, at least one of the SWG layers being arranged to control a light wavefront;
- and
- a spacer interposed between the first and the second SWG layers, the spacer defining the relative position between the first SWG layer and the second SWG layer.
A method of manufacturing a wavefront control device, the method comprising:
- forming a first SWG layer on a first substrate;
- and
- integrating the first SWG layer, the first substrate, and a second SWG layer, one of the first or the second SWG layer being arranged to control a light wavefront incident in the wavefront control device.
