Abstract
A system, method, and computer program product for displaying representative images within a collection viewer is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a notification indicating a new orientation for the collection viewer, computing a current animation state for a current animation sequence associated with the collection viewer, identifying representative images to render in an animation frame, and generating an animation frame by rendering one or more rendered representative images in place, according to the animation state.
Claims19
A method for displaying representative images within a collection viewer, the method comprising:
- receiving a notification indicating a new orientation for the collection viewer;
- computing a current animation state for a current animation sequence associated with the collection viewer;
- identifying representative images to render in an animation frame;
- and
- generating an animation frame by rendering one or more rendered representative images in place, according to the animation state.
A computer program product embodied in a non-transitory computer-readable medium that, when executed by a processor, causes the processor to display representative images within a collection viewer by performing the steps of:
- receiving a notification indicating a new orientation for the collection viewer;
- computing a current animation state for a current animation sequence associated with the collection viewer;
- identifying representative images to render in an animation frame;
- and
- generating an animation frame by rendering one or more rendered representative images in place, according to the animation state.
A mobile computing device comprising:
- a display unit configured to display a collection viewer;
- and
- a processing unit configured to display representative images within a collection viewer by performing the steps of:
- receiving a notification indicating a new orientation for the collection viewer;
- computing a current animation state for a current animation sequence associated with the collection viewer;
- identifying representative images to render in an animation frame;
- and
- generating an animation frame by rendering one or more rendered representative images in place, according to the animation state.
