Hand truck system with removable bin

A hand truck and removable container assembly, said assembly comprising:

• an elongated body;
• a support platform extending away from a lower end of said body;
• a handle portion configured integral with an upper portion of said body;
• an axle secured in a fixed relationship to said body;
• at least a pair of wheels located at said lower end of said body;
• and
• a container system comprising:
• a plurality of side walls, and a bottom wall, said side walls in combination with said bottom wall forming an interior cavity therebetween, said bottom wall disposed to act as a floor within said interior cavity when said container is placed in a vertical position;
• one or more base plates removably secured to an exterior surface of said bottom wall, said base plates configured so as to form an opening between said exterior surface of said bottom wall and an upper surface of said base plates for engaging with a support platform of said hand truck;
• and
• a fastening device for removably securing said bin to said hand truck.
