Abstract
The present invention relates to a workpiece which, on its surface, displays a depression having an opening width of at least 0.2 mm and in which depression a carrier material which is connected in a substantially inseparable manner to the workpiece and contains a characteristic marking material for the workpiece is disposed; and to a method for manufacturing the same and to a method for authentication and/or identification of the workpiece.
