Tablet feeder

A tablet dispensing apparatus that dispenses the number of tablets in a predetermined period of time based on dispensing signals,

• wherein a sensor is installed in the dispensing path of the tablets;
• objects, such as tablets, passing through the dispensing path are detected using the sensor;
• detected signals are counted whenever the predetermined period of time has lapsed;
• and detected signals are omitted from counting when the signals are detected out of the predetermined period of time.

A method of counting the number of dispensing tablets in a tablet dispensing apparatus that dispenses the number of the tablets based on dispensing signals, the method comprising:

• installing a sensor in the dispensing path of the tablet dispensing apparatus;
• detecting objects passing through the dispensing path of the tablets using the sensor;
• classifying the objects into tablets and other objects;
• counting the number of signals representing the tablets;
• and
• omitting signals from counting when the signals do not represent the tablets

A tablet dispensing apparatus that dispenses the number of the tablets based on dispensing signals, wherein a sensor is installed in the dispensing path of the tablets;

• objects passing through the dispensing path of the tablets are detected using the sensor;
• the objects are classified into tablets and other objects;
• the number of signals representing the tablets are counted;
• and signals are omitted from the counting when the signals do not represent the tablets.
