Abstract
A drive assembly for a torque converter is provided. The drive assembly includes a turbine shell including a rounded portion and an outer radial extension on an outer circumference of rounded portion; and a tab plate bonded to the outer radial extension of the turbine shell by adhesive. A method of forming a drive assembly for a torque converter is also provided.

A drive assembly for a torque converter comprising:
- a turbine shell including a rounded portion and an outer radial extension on an outer circumference of rounded portion;
- and
- a tab plate bonded to the outer radial extension of the turbine shell by adhesive.
A method of forming a drive assembly for a torque converter comprising:
- bonding a drive tab to a turbine shell by adhesive.
