Abstract
A hybrid steam power plant is disclosed using the steam generator as a sub-construction for a solar receiver.

A steam power plant comprising:
- a steam generator;
- a turbine;
- a condenser;
- at least one solar collector;
- and
- a receiver for receiving the solar radiation collected by the at least one solar collector wherein the receiver is mounted on or integrated in the steam generator.
