Abstract
The invention relates to a session border controller, method and computer program for receiving in a first network, from a second network, an indication indicating a type of a network interface between the first network and the second network, wherein the indication is received during establishment of a communication session through the first network and the second network, and processing the communication session based on the type of the network interface.
Claims17
An apparatus in a second network, comprising:
- means for receiving, as part of a call setup related signalling from a first network, an indication indicating a type of a network interface between the first network and the second network with respect to the call setup signalling, wherein the indication is received during set up of a communication session through the first network and the second network,
- means for processing the communication session based on the type of the network interface.
An apparatus in a first network, comprising:
- means for including, in a call setup signaling message towards a second network, an indication indicating a type of a network interface between the first network and the second network, and,
- means for transmitting the signaling message to the second network.
A method, comprising:
- receiving in a second network, from a first network, an indication indicating a type of a network interface between the first network and the second network, wherein the indication is received during establishment of a communication session through the first network and the second network,
- processing the communication session based on the type of the network interface.
A method, comprising:
- including by a first network in a call setup signaling message towards a second network, an indication indicating a type of a network interface between the first network and the second network, and,
- transmitting the signaling message to the second network.
