Abstract
Technologies are provided for data dependent socialization for life scientists and organizations. Data dependent socialization may be based on statistical correlations between experimental life science data. A service may provide individuals with an interface for providing experimental data, and the service may generate a visual connection report representing potential connections for collaboration.
Claims28
A computer-implemented method for providing one or more collaboration recommendations based on correlations between two or more biological datasets, the computer-implemented method comprising:
- receiving one or more biological datasets;
- analyzing the one or more received biological datasets against one or more biological datasets associated with the system to determine at least one of a statistical significance value that quantifies a degree of correlation;
- identifying one or more owners of the two or more biological datasets whose degree of correlation exceed one or more statistical thresholds;
- and
- presenting one or more collaboration recommendations based on the one or more identified owners.
A life sciences social connections system comprising one or more networked computing devices, the one or more networked computing devices comprising:
- one or more processors;
- one or more memories;
- and
- a life sciences social connections system stored in the one or more memories and executable by the one or more processors, wherein the life sciences social connections distribution system is configured to:
- receive one or more biological datasets;
- analyze the one or more received biological datasets against one or more biological datasets associated with the system to determine at least one of a statistical significance value that quantifies a degree of correlation;
- identify one or more owners/users of the two or more biological datasets whose degree of correlation exceed one or more statistical thresholds;
- and
- present one or more collaboration recommendations based on the one or more identified owners/users.
