Abstract
Pending approvals in a computer system are aggregated from various parts of the computer system and presented to a user. Each pending approval includes contextual information and a user input mechanism to approve or reject the pending approval.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method of approving a document in a computer system, comprising:
- displaying a first approval display with a pending approval user input mechanism corresponding to each of a plurality of pending approvals;
- receiving user actuation of a given pending approval user input mechanism;
- and
- displaying a second approval display with contextual information for a given pending approval corresponding to the given pending approval user input mechanism, along with an approval user input mechanism that is actuated to approve the given pending approval.

A computer system, comprising:
- an approval component that aggregates pending approvals for a given user from a plurality of applications;
- a user interface component that displays a first approval display with a pending approval user input mechanism corresponding to each of the pending approvals;
- and
- a computer processor, being a functional part of the computer system and activated by the approval component and the user interface component to facilitate aggregating and displaying.

A computer readable storage medium, storing computer readable instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to perform a method, comprising:
- aggregating pending approvals for a given user from a plurality of applications in a computer system;
