Abstract
Sleep monitoring and stimulation comprises collecting actigraphy data from a user. The user's sleep phase is determined using the actigraphy data. At least one stimulation, determined at least in part on the sleep phase, is directed towards the user. Subsequent actigraphy data is collected from the user. The actigraphy data and subsequent actigraphy data is used to determine the user's subsequent sleep phase. The stimulation is modified, based at least in part upon the subsequent sleep phase.

A method comprising:
- a. collecting from at least one actigraphy device, actigraphy data from a user;
- b. determining the user's sleep phase employing the actigraphy data;
- and
- c. causing at least one stimulation device to direct a stimulation towards the user, the stimulation determined, at least in part, on the sleep phase.

- a. at least one actigraphy device;
- b. at least one stimulation device;
- and
- c. at least one processing device comprising:
- i. at least one first communications port configured to:
- 1. communicate with at least one actigraphy device;
- and
- 2. control at least one stimulation device;
- ii. at least one processor configured to execute machine executable instructions;
- and
- iii. at least one memory device configured to store machine executable instructions configured to cause the at least one processor to:
- 1. collect from at least one actigraphy device, actigraphy data from a user;
- 2. determine the user's sleep phase employing the actigraphy data;
- and
- 3. cause at least one stimulation device to direct a stimulation towards the user, the stimulation determined, at least in part, on the sleep phase.
