Abstract
The present invention relates to an ophthalmic solution comprising a prostaglandin compound and viscosity-increasing compound. The ophthalmic solution of the invention is excellent in stability and can provide long lasting and increased effect when administrated topically to the eyes of a patient.

A method for improving the duration and/or potency of the effect of an ophthalmic solution comprising 13,14-dihydro-15-keto-20-ethyl-prostaglandin F2α isopropyl ester when administered to the eyes of a subject, comprising:
- adding methyl cellulose in an amount of about 0.01-10 w/v % to the ophthalmic solution.
