The present invention provides novel crystalline forms of perampanel, pharmaceutical compositions comprising same, methods for their preparation and uses thereof for treating seizures and epilepsy.

An anhydrous crystalline form of perampanel (Form III) having an X-ray powder diffraction pattern with diffraction peaks at 2-theta values at about 8.7±0.1, 11.7±0.1, 12.5±0.1, and 20.0±0.1.
An anhydrous crystalline form of perampanel (Form V) having an X-ray powder diffraction pattern with diffraction peaks at 2-theta values at about 8.8±0.1 and 11.9±0.1.
An anhydrous crystalline form of perampanel (Form VII) having an X-ray powder diffraction pattern with diffraction peaks at 2-theta values at about 11.6±0.1, 17.8±0.1, 24.4±0.1 and 27.6±0.1.
