Herbicidal compounds

A method of controlling weeds at a locus, said method comprising application to the locus of a weed controlling amount of a herbicidal composition comprising a compound of Formula (I).

• R1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6haloalkyl and C1-C6alkoxy-C1-C3alkyl;
• R2 is selected from the group consisting of C1-C6alkyl-, C1-C6haloalkyl-, C1-C6alkoxy-C1-C6alkyl-, C1-C3alkoxy-C2-C3alkoxy-C1-C3alkyl-, halogen, cyano, nitro, C1-C6alkyl-S(O)p- and C1-C6haloalkyl-S(O)p—;
• X is CR3 or N;
• R3 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6haloalkyl, C1-C6alkoxy-C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6haloalkoxy-C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy-C1-C6alkoxy-C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6haloalkoxy, C1-C6alkoxy-C1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6alkylamino, C1-C6dialkylamino-, piperidino, morpholino, cyano, C1-C6alkyl-S(O)p- and C1-C6haloalkyl-S(O)p—;
• R4 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6haloalkyl, C1-C6alkoxy-C1-C6alkyl, halogen, cyano, nitro, C1-C6alkyl-S(O)p- and C1-C6haloalkyl-S(O)p—;
• or R3 and R4 together form a saturated 5- or 6-membered ring, optionally containing an oxygen or a S(O)p heteroatom, the 5- or 6-membered ring being optionally substituted by one or more R6;
• R5 is selected from the group consisting of, hydrogen, halogen, C1-C6 alkyl and C1-C6 haloalkyl;
• or R4 and R5 together form a 5- or 6-membered aromatic ring, optionally containing a nitrogen heteroatom, the 5- or 6-membered aromatic ring being optionally substituted by one or more R6;
• R6 is selected from the group consisting of halogen, C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6haloalkyl, Cr C6alkoxy-C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6haloalkoxy-C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy-C1-C6alkoxy-C1-C6alkyl-, C1-C6alkoxy and C1-C6haloalkoxy;
• and
• p=0, 1 or 2.
