A ceramic body comprising at least one phase comprising a pseudobrookite-type crystal structure and at least one phase comprising zirconium tin titanate.
A porous ceramic honeycomb structure comprising a ceramic body comprising at least one phase comprising a pseudobrookite-type crystal structure and at least one phase comprising zirconium tin titanate.
A method for preparing a ceramic body, said method comprising the steps of:
- providing a batch composition comprising at least one zirconium source, at least one tin source, at least one titanium source, at least one aluminum source, and at least one magnesium source;
- and
- firing the batch composition under conditions suitable to form a ceramic body comprising at least one phase comprising a pseudobrookite-type crystal structure and at least one phase comprising zirconium tin titanate.
