Abstract
A sensor device includes a flow path and a metal layer disposed in the flow path. The flow path is configured to allow a sample containing analytes to flow and to allow a carrier to be disposed therein. The carrier has acceptors that are fixed on a surface thereof and specifically bound with the analytes for producing aggregates. The flow path includes an aggregate trapping section at which the analytes locally concentrate to the section. This sensor device has high detection sensitivity with a simple structure.
Claims18
A sensor device configured to detect analytes, comprising:
- a flow path surrounded by an upper surface, a lower surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface which faces the first side surface, the flow path being configured to allow the sample to flow in the flow path, the upper surface of the flow path being configured to allow an incident electromagnetic wave supplied thereto, the flow path being configured to have a carrier disposed therein;
- and
- a metal layer disposed at least on a part of at least one of the upper surface and the lower surface of the flow path,
- wherein the carrier is configured to have a plurality of acceptors fixed on a surface of the carrier, the plurality of acceptors being specifically bound with the analytes for forming an aggregate, and
- wherein the flow path includes an aggregate trapping section configured to allow the analytes to be locally concentrate to the aggregate trapping section.
