Abstract
The present invention provides an oligonucleotide for HIV detection including a base sequence which is at least 80% identical to a base sequence composed of 10 or more continuous bases in a base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO. 1 or 6, and an HIV detection kit and an HIV detection method that uses the oligonucleotide for HIV detection.
Claims10
1-5. (canceled)
An HIV detection kit for detecting a short RNA produced by HIV-infected cells comprising a primer for HIV detection which is at least 95% identical to a base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO. 5.
An HIV detection method comprising using an HIV detection kit for detecting a short RNA produced by HIV-infected cells, wherein
- the HIV detection kit comprises a primer for HIV detection which is at least 95% identical to a base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO. 5.
An HIV detection method for detecting a short RNA produced by HIV-infected cells comprising:
- (a) a step of adding a polyA at the 3′ end of an mRNA in a nucleic acid sample;
- (b) a step of synthesizing, from the mRNA, a cDNA complementary to the mRNA by a reverse transcription reaction using a polyT and a primer having a base sequence complementary to an adapter sequence on the 5′ side of the polyT;
- (c) a step of amplifying, from the cDNA, a target base sequence having a sequence of a cDNA of HIV by using a primer for HIV detection which is at least 95% identical to a base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO. 5 and an oligonucleotide having a base sequence complementary to the adapter sequence;
- and
- (d) a step of detecting an amplification product of the target base sequence.
