Abstract
The present invention relates to a flame retardant identification system and, more particularly, to a tracing and tagging agent including a fluorescent tracing compound for substrates such as textiles and lumber.
Claims14
A tagging agent for a textile substrate treated with a flame retardant composition comprising:
- a clear aqueous fluorescent compound comprising a (YFP) yellow organic protein fluorophore suspended in dihydrogen monoxide,
- wherein said agent is formulated such that said agent is not visible under ambient light when applied as a stamp to the textile substrate.
A tagging agent for a lumber or polyurethane substrate treated with a flame retardant coating comprising:
- a clear ultraviolet reactive acrylic pigment comprising a (YFP) yellow organic protein fluorophore suspended in dihydrogen monoxide, and a synthetic vinyl polymer,
- wherein said agent is formulated such that said agent is not visible under ambient ugh when applied as a stamp to the lumber or polyurethane substrate.
