Abstract
Image processing apparatus comprises a memory unit configured to store medical data, and a data processing unit configured to receive medical data from the memory unit and comprising an image generation unit configured to generate a medical display image, the medical display image comprising a background region image and a foreground image derived from the medical data, wherein a brightness of the background image changes in a region between a boundary of the background region and a periphery of the medical display image.

Image processing apparatus comprising:
- a memory unit configured to store medical data;
- and
- a data processing unit configured to receive medical data from the memory unit and comprising an image generation unit configured to generate a medical display image, the medical display image comprising a background region image and a foreground image derived from the medical data, wherein a brightness of the background image changes in the background region between a boundary of the background region and a periphery of the medical display image.
A method of processing medical data, comprising:—
- generating a medical display image, the medical display image comprising a background region image and a foreground image derived from the medical data, wherein a brightness of the background image changes in the background region between a boundary of the background region and a periphery of the medical display image.
