System, method, and software for location assisted mapping and patient monitoring

A system for monitoring a patient within a hospital, comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory storing instructions executable by the processor, wherein the instructions when executed by the processor cause the system to:
• generate a map of the healthcare facility;
• receive ongoing location data of a remote device positioned within the healthcare facility;
• receive ongoing patient data associated with at least one patient being monitored in the healthcare facility;
• deliver a notification to the remote device based on the location data of the remote device at a particular time.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program which, when executed by a computer, causes the computer to perform a method for location-based healthcare facility management, comprising:

• generating a map of the healthcare facility;
• receiving ongoing location data of a remote device positioned within the healthcare facility;
• receiving ongoing patient data associated with at least one patient being monitored in the healthcare facility;
• delivering a notification to the remote device based on the location data of the remote device at a particular time.
