## CPC

- D02G 3/328: {containing elastane}
- D02G: CRIMPING OR CURLING FIBRES, FILAMENTS, THREADS, OR YARNS; YARNS OR THREADS

## Abstract

An elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors and process of manufacturing same is provided. The elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors includes an SDY having fibers being dope dyed, a POY drawn from dope dyed synthetic materials; and an elastic yarn. The SDY, the POY, and the elastic yarn are twisted together to form the elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors. The process is water saving and energy saving and causes no pollution. The elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors is light in weight and is capable of keeping warm, and has a high elasticity.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors comprising:
A spin drawn yarn having fibers being dope dyed and having fiber specifications of 50-150d/38-58f;
A partial oriented yarn drawn from dope dyed synthetic materials, the partial oriented yarn having fiber specifications of 50-150d/38-58f; and
an elastic yarn of high elasticity, the elastic yarn having fiber specifications of 40-70d/2-4f;
wherein the spin drawn yarn, the partial oriented yarn and the elastic yarn are twisted together to form the elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors of claim 1, wherein the elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors having fiber specifications of 50-150d/75-115f, and preferably, the elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors having fiber specifications of 130d/96f.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors of claim 1, wherein the spin drawn yarn preferably has fiber specifications are 75d/48f.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors of claim 1, wherein the partial oriented yarn preferably has fiber specifications are 50d/48f.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors of claim 1, wherein the elastic yarn preferably has the fiber specifications are 40d/3f.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors of claim 1, wherein each of the SDY and the partial oriented yarn are formed of polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polytrimethylene terephthalate, acetyl, rayon, nylon, or polypropylene.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors of claim 1, wherein the partial oriented yarn has a porosity of at least 10%.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors of claim 1, wherein the elastic yarn is formed of propylene oxide, Spandex, or Lycra.

### Claim 9 (depends on 9)

The elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors of claim 9, wherein the partial oriented yarn is drawn from a direct spinning dope dyed masterbatch.

### Claim 10

A process of manufacturing an elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors, comprising the steps of:
conveying a spin drawn yarn to a second rotating spinning drums unit via a first rotating spinning drums unit;
conveying a partial oriented yarn to the second rotating spinning drums unit to join the spin drawn yarn via a third rotating spinning drums unit, a heater, and a false twister;
conveying an elastic yarn to the second rotating spinning drums unit to join the SDY and the partial oriented yarn via a fourth rotating spinning drums unit;
conveying the joined spin drawn yarn, the partial oriented yarn, and the elastic yarn to an airjet; and
activating the airjet to twist and integrate the joined spin drawn yarn, the partial oriented yarn, and the elastic yarn as an elastic dope dyed yarn composite having two colors.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The process of claim 10, wherein the elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors having fiber specifications of 50-150d/75-115f, and preferably, the elastic dope dyed yarn composite of two colors having fiber specifications of 130d/96f.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)
