said interior channel providing therein an adaptor having a protruding lip on one end, said protruding lip is configured to be received within a handguard cap of the barreled action when the barreled action is secured within said interior channel;
said trigger including a rearwardly extending arm adapted to place said trigger into operational communication with the action of the firearm.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The bullpup chassis as set forth in claim 1, further comprised of a magazine release lever having a traverse bore at about a midpoint thereof for receiving a pin about which said magazine release lever pivots, said magazine release lever being in operational communication with a magazine catch provided on the action of the firearm.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The bullpup chassis as set forth in claim 2, wherein said magazine release defines two contact surface thereon, one contact surface is located on a front side above said traverse bore which may be pressed rearwardly to release a magazine seated in said magazine well, said magazine release lever also has a second contact surface located on a back side below said traverse bore which may be pushed forward to release a magazine seated in said magazine well.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The bullpup chassis as set forth in claim 1, further comprising a trigger safety, at least a portion of which is housed within said pistol grip adjacent to said trigger.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The bullpup chassis as set forth in claim 4, wherein said trigger safety has a first position and a second position of operation, said first position of operation places said trigger safety into a position which prevents said trigger from being rearwardly pulled, said second position of operation moves said trigger safety out of said triggers rearward travel path.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The bullpup chassis as set forth in claim 1, wherein said rearwardly extending arm includes an extension member, said extension member is located behind and in operational communication with a sear of the firearm's action.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The bullpup chassis as set forth in claim 1, wherein said adaptor is removable.

### Claim 8

A stock set for converting a rifle into bullpup configuration, the stock set comprising:
a body portion defining a magazine well, pistol grip and interior channel thereon;
a top portion;
a buttstock portion constructed to be secured to said body portion and said top portion;
said interior channel of said body portion is constructed to receive an adaptor block which defines a protruding lip on its forward most surface, said protruding lip is configured to be received within a portion of a rifles handguard cap when the rifle is inserted into said interior channel;
said top portion defines a protruding lip on its front end, said protruding lip is configured to be received within a portion of the rifles handguard cap;
said pistol grip is located in front of said magazine well, located adjacent said pistol grip is a trigger which is pivotally mounted to said body portion, said trigger including a rearwardly extending arm having an engagement member near one end, said engagement member extends at an angle perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of said rearwardly extending arm, said engagement member is received within the action of the rifle thereby placing said trigger into operational communication with the action of the firearm.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The stock set of claim 8, further comprised of a magazine release lever, said magazine release lever includes a traverse bore at about a midpoint thereof for receiving a pin about which said magazine release lever pivots.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The stock set of claim 9, wherein said magazine release lever is mounted within an opening on said body portion at a position behind and adjacent to said magazine well, said magazine release lever is in operational communication with a magazine catch located on the action of the firearm.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The stock set of claim 10, wherein said magazine release lever has a contact surface located on a front side above said traverse bore which may be pressed rearwardly to release a magazine seated in said magazine well, said magazine release lever also having a second contact surface located on a back side below said traverse bore which may be pushed forward to release a magazine seated in said magazine well.

### Claim 12 (depends on 8)

The stock set of claim 8, further comprised of a trigger safety that is pivotally mounted within said pistol grip, said trigger safety defining an engagement surface thereon configured to interact with a protruding member that extends rearwardly from said trigger, said trigger safety is capable of being rotated between a first position and a second position, said first position places said engagement surface into operational contact with said protruding member thereby preventing the rearward movement of said trigger, said second position moves said engagement surface from the rearward travel path of said protruding member thereby allowing the trigger to be pulled rearwardly.

### Claim 13 (depends on 8)

The stock set of claim 8, wherein the action of the firearm includes at least a sear, a hammer and a firing pin, said engagement member of said trigger is located adjacent the sear and in operational communication therewith such that when said trigger is pulled rearwardly said engagement member pushes the sear forward, the forward movement of the sear releasing the hammer to strike the firing pin.

### Claim 14

A bullpup configured rifle comprising:
a barreled action of an autoloading rifle including at least a sear, a hammer, a bolt, a firing pin, a receiver, a barrel and a handguard cap;
